Sharing Green Salon Outputs
On March 13th of 2018, IES El Palo invited to 4 Hair and Beauty Schools from Málaga Province, to a conference that took place in our School.
The aim of the conference was to:
- Make available to students and teachers the results of the research carried out by 5 European Institutions specialized in professional training as well as different educational tools generated in the "Green Salon" project.
- Test and evaluate the quality of the learning material.
- Improve awareness and knowledge of the consequences of hairdressing in the health of professionals and in the environment.
- Integration and coexistence of students from different educational centers of the personal image family.
Attendees from IES El Palo, IES Isidoro Sánchez (both from Málaga), IES Reyes Católicos (Velez-Málaga), IES los Manantiales (Torremolinos) and IES María Zambrano (Torre del Mar), participated in different tasks with special focus on the Learning Material. To do so, all the participants were split in small groups of 12-16 and along 1 hour and a half, they join a lesson and developed different activities.
Further more, they also checked the Green Salon concept scanner and the e-game, getting their feedback through a Kahoot game to promote an enjoyable and interactive communication.
The conference was successfully not only because the number of participants but for the good acceptance and recognition of the Green Salon Project and it outputs. All the teachers involved shown a big interest to use the different tools offer by the Website of the project and they described the Learning material as very useful and interesting.
